Manila Cathedral

I visited last year the beautiful Manila Cathedral, but as I understood from our guide there, the original building was destroyed during the World War II and then rebuilt in Romanesque style with funds from Vatican. It is worth visiting for its gilded altar, rosette windows and stained glass, and the impressive organ at the rear. You will find this church at the corner of Postigo and General Luna Street. The square in front of the Cathedral called Plaza de Roma was used in the past as bullfighting ring.
