Manila's Rizal Park

Posted 1 year ago by avatar eduardo in response to pinpen's question: Some visiting tips about what to see in Manila, please? (give a different answer) .

The Rizal Park (called after a local hero) has beautiful gardens where you can stroll along all day the Japanese and the Chinese Garden have a same admission fee of 5 peso. You can also visit the Planetarium and at the end of the Taft Ave you will see a gigantic Pond with a 3d relief map of the Philippines. Oh, and on Sundays you can watch martial arts performances and "arnis" a stick fighting in Filipino style. Take a jeepney or a Fx van that passes along A Mabini Street to get to Rizal Park
