In case you travel in the Philippines, don't be afraid to take your credit card with you! I was amazed to see that there are branches of the Equitable PCi Bank everywhere. Philippine National Bank has ATMs in every little city. For example, in Puerto Princesa, I was astonished to find at least 3 ATMs on Rizal street. And the exchange rate is really decent :)
